Giving women the skills and training can transform their lives. Women are the drivers and backbone of communities. Thousands of women and their children living in poverty, through education they can change and live in better life.
We connect women, so they can create income generating opportunities to provide life-essentials, including food, clothing, shelter and education, for their families, and build a more secure and sustainable future. It inspires the education of their own children, and in this way, we can empower and educate whole communities for generations to come
Women’s Empowerment Project (Totorani)
Project Goal
Our goal is to empower to over 500 women in Serengeti district by 2035 to live a more financially stable life and actively participate in the economy through access to employment, creation of businesses and financial inclusion. Through this goal these women will be able to provide for their families and contribute to their children’s education.
About The Project
Totorani means ‘Help each other’ in Ikoma language and our program is designed to provide life changing opportunities for women in need at Serengeti district.
We equip these amazing women with business skills, agricultural, culture and the microfinance they require to start up and run profitable small businesses and improve their standard of living so they can be the change in their own lives.
We believe that skills can enable women to break the poverty cycle while also creating employment opportunities for others in their communities.
