About us
Totorani Serengeti Organization (TSO) is a registered non-profit based in Mugumu, in Serengeti District, Mara Region, Tanzania. We are an environmental organization working on tree planting and education.

Where we work
Mugumu is the main town of Serengeti District, at the edge of one of the world's best-known ecosystems. This is where we live, and where our work happens.

Our founder
TSO was founded by Joseph, who started the organization to care for the land around Serengeti and for the children growing up on it.

We work with women's groups, farmers and families. They decide with us what is planted and where.

We are from Mugumu. We know the land, the seasons and the people.

Long-term
A tree takes years to grow, and so does a school. We plan for the long run.
